A method for transmission of a downlink channel, comprising
- leaving at least one resource element free of the downlink channel when scheduling a multipoint transmission, and
- inserting data representing interference in said at least one resource element for use in interference measurements.
An apparatus for controlling downlink transmissions, the apparatus comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory including computer program code, wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured, with the at least one processor, to
- leave at least one resource element free of a downlink channel when scheduling a multipoint transmission, and
- insert data representing interference in said at least one resource element for use in interference measurements.
A computer readable medium storing a program of instructions, execution of which by a processor configures an apparatus to at least:
- leaving at least one resource element free of the downlink channel when scheduling a multipoint transmission, and
- inserting data representing interference in said at least one resource element for use in interference measurements.
