Abstract
The present invention is further directed to methods and compositions for modulating the activity of the Toso protein. The invention further encompasses treatment of disorders associated with inflammation, autoimmune disorders, and cancer using compositions that include a soluble Toso protein.

A method of treating an autoimmune disorder in a subject, said method comprising treating said subject with a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a soluble Toso protein.
A method of treating asthma in a subject, said method comprising treating said subject with a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a soluble Toso protein.
