Connector

A connector, comprising:

• a first housing (10) including a first frame (11) with a frame main body (12) formed with first accommodation spaces (14) and a receptacle (13) extending forward from the frame main body (12), at least one projection (21) projecting forward from a front surface of the frame main body (12), at least one reinforcement (22) projecting from an outer surface of the projection (21);
• first sub-housings (17) mounted respectively in the first accommodation spaces (14);
• first terminal fittings (18) mounted in the first sub-housing(s) (17);
• a second housing (30) connectable to the first housing (10), the second housing (30) including a second frame (31) formed with second accommodation spaces (32);
• second sub-housings (35) accommodated respectively in the second accommodation spaces (32);
• second terminal fittings (36) to be mounted in the second sub-housings (35);
• an accommodating recess (38) formed in the second frame (31) and configured to accommodate the projection (21) when the second housing (30) is fit into the receptacle (13);
• and
• at least one cut portion (39) formed in the second frame (31) and providing communication between the accommodating recess (38) and the second accommodation space (32), the cut portion being configured to accommodate the reinforcement (22) when the projection (21) is accommodated into the accommodating recess (38).
