Abstract
Systems for collecting a thermoplastic resin that includes a heating mechanism configured to apply heat to the thermoplastic resin so as to control a viscoelasticity thereof, a pressurization mechanism configured to apply a pressure difference to a surface of the thermoplastic resin, and a trapping structure configured to trap a portion of the thermoplastic resin are described.
Claims35
A system for collecting a thermoplastic resin, the system comprising:
- a heating mechanism configured to apply heat to a plurality of thermoplastic resins so as to control a viscoelasticity thereof;
- a pressurization mechanism configured to apply a pressure difference to a surface of the plurality of thermoplastic resins;
- and
- a trapping structure configured to trap a portion of at least one of the plurality of thermoplastic resins,
- wherein the trapping structure comprises a mold including at least one recess arranged on a surface thereof to trap the portion of the thermoplastic resin,
- wherein the surface of the mold except for the at least one recess is coated with a low-surface-energy coating, and
- wherein the pressurization mechanism is configured to apply the pressure difference by pressing the mold against the thermoplastic resin.

system for collecting a thermoplastic resin, the system comprising:
- a heating mechanism configured to apply heat to a plurality of thermoplastic resins so as to control a viscoelasticity thereof;
- a trapping structure configured to trap a portion of at least one of the plurality of thermoplastic resins, wherein the trapping structure comprises a hollow mold including at least one recess formed of at least one hole penetrating the hollow mold and arranged on a surface thereof to trap the portion of the thermoplastic resin;
- a pressurization mechanism configured to apply a pressure difference to a surface of the plurality of thermoplastic resins, wherein the pressurization mechanism is configured to apply the pressure difference by pressing the mold against the thermoplastic resin;
- and
- an injection mechanism configured to exclude the trapped thermoplastic resin from the at least one hole by injecting fluid from a hollow part of the hollow mold.
The system of claim 30, wherein an amount of the applied heat is selected based on a softening point of the at least one thermoplastic resin to be trapped.
A system for collecting a thermoplastic resin, the system comprising:
- a heating mechanism configured to apply heat to a plurality of thermoplastic resins so as to control a viscoelasticity thereof;
- a trapping structure comprising a hollow mold including at least one hole penetrating the hollow mold and configured to trap a portion of at least one of the plurality of thermoplastic resins;
- and
- a pressurization mechanism configured to apply a negative pressure to the surface of the plurality of the thermoplastic resins through the at least one hole.
The system of claim 39, wherein an amount of the applied heat is selected based on a softening point of the at least one thermoplastic resin to be trapped.
The system of claim 39, wherein an amount of the applied pressure difference is selected based on a required pressure at which the at least one thermoplastic resin to be trapped is distorted.
