Video communication method and terminal

Abstract

The disclosure provides a method for realizing visual communication and a terminal. The method includes: the initiating terminal and the receiving terminal of the visual communication establish a Bluetooth wireless communication link between the initiating terminal and the receiving terminal via the respective Bluetooth module thereof; and the initiating terminal and the receiving terminal transmit the multimedia information via the established Bluetooth wireless communication link to carry out the visual communication. In the disclosure, the Bluetooth technology and the low rate audio/video coding technology are combined effectively with the feature that the connection and networking are flexible and diversified and the capability of transmitting via a low bandwidth channel.
