The present invention relates to a light emitting device, including a conductive substrate, vertical light emitting cells arranged on the conductive substrate, an insulating layer interposed between the conductive substrate and the vertical light emitting cells, and a wire electrically connecting the vertical light emitting cells.

A light emitting device, comprising:
- a conductive substrate;
- vertical light emitting cells arranged on the conductive substrate;
- an insulating layer arranged between the conductive substrate and the vertical light emitting cells;
- and
- a wire electrically connecting the vertical light emitting cells.
