Abstract
The present disclosure includes purification and deposition methods for single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) that allow for purification without damaging the SWNTs. The present disclosure includes methods for reducing electrical resistance in SWNT networks.
Claims20
A method of purifying and depositing single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) networks comprising:
- preparing a substrate;
- preparing a suspension of SWNTs;
- and
- depositing the SWNT suspension, wherein the deposition method provides control over the density and alignment of SWNTs and prevents the SWNTs from forming bundles during deposition.
1 more element
A method of reducing electrical resistance in single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) networks, comprising:
- selective electrodeposition of conductive nanoparticles on SWNTs in a network, wherein the network is bridging metal electrodes, allowing deposition on the defect sites and sidewalls of the conductive SWNTs, while avoiding metal deposition around them, wherein the semiconductive character of the SWNTs is preserved and electrical resistance is reduced.
