Abstract
A strapping system used to hold a messenger bag or the like to a person. The system includes multi-component multi-attachment rotating and detachable buckles which provide pivoting motion about the intersection points of non-axial forces. The system allows for switching shoulders and adjusts to changing angles induced by changing the position of the bag on the person.
Claims8
A bag strapping system, comprising:
- a primary strap unit, having ends connected to opposing sides of a bag through interchangeable quick-release connectors that facilitate rotation in a controlled manner providing pivoting motion about the intersection points of non-axial forces.
The system of claim I, including two primary straps, each having one end connected to an opposing side of the bag through a quick-release connector that facilitates rotation;
- wherein:
- the other ends of the primary straps connect to one another through a multi-rotational coupler disposed over the front of the wearer;
- and one end of the third, stabilizing strap also connects to the multi-rotational coupler which provides pivoting motion about the intersection point of non-axial forces
The system of claim I, wherein the third, stabilizing strap is a continuous strap that slides back and forth with connectors at both ends enabling access from either side of said bag.
The system of claim I, wherein the third, stabilizing strap connects to said bag through a quick-release connector that facilitates rotation in a controlled manner providing pivoting motion about the intersection points of non-axial forces.
The system of claim I, wherein the attachment of said quick-release connectors is such that the affixed half of the connector has substantially no independent motion relative to the mounting surface on said bag.
