A method for increasing stability of an electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction, comprising adding from about 0.1 mM to about 100 mM of NaCl to an anode electrolyte environment in which the oxygen reduction occurs.
A fuel electrode for a fuel cell, comprising a silver/silver halide composite.
