Abstract
Described herein are aqueous compositions comprising polymers, which deliver a polymer film to surfaces of the oral cavity to relieve dry mouth; and methods of preparing and using the same.

An aqueous oral care composition comprising:
- from about 0.01 to about 0.5%, by weight, xanthan gum;
- from about 0.01 to about 0.5%, by weight, cellulose gum;
- from about 0.01 to about 0.5%, by weight, carbomer;
- and
- an orally acceptable aqueous carrier;
- wherein the composition has a Flow Rate Index of less than 0.85.
