Abstract
Packets from a first network entity to a second network entity are received. A maximal size of packets from the second network entity to the first network entity is determined based on information in the received packets.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a processing device, packets communicated from a first network entity to a second network entity;
- and
- determining, by the processing device based on information in the packets from the first network entity to the second network entity, a maximal size of packets communicated from the second network entity to the first network entity.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processing device to:
- receive packets having corresponding index numbers;
- determine differences in the index numbers of successive packets;
- and
- estimate a maximal size of packets based on the differences.
