Radio communication devices and methods for operating radio communication devices

A radio communication device, comprising:

• a first transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals in accordance with a Cellular Wide Area radio communication technology;
• a second transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals in accordance with a Short Range radio communication technology or a Metropolitan Area System radio communication technology;
• a processor configured to control at least one of the transmitting behavior and the receiving behavior of the second transceiver dependent on time periods during which the first transceiver is idle or to control at least one of the transmitting behavior and the receiving behavior of the first transceiver dependent on time periods during which the second transceiver is idle.

A radio communication device, comprising:

• a transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals in accordance with a Cellular Wide Area radio communication technology;
• a receiver configured to receive signals in accordance with a satellite positioning technology;
• a processor configured to at least partially synchronize the receiving of signals of the transceiver with the receiving of signals of the receiver such that at least a part of the receiving of signals of the transceiver and of the receiver is carried out at the same time.

A radio communication device, comprising:

• a transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals in accordance with a Cellular Wide Area radio communication technology;
• a receiver configured to receive signals in accordance with a satellite positioning technology;
• a processor configured to control the receiving behavior of the receiver dependent on time periods during which the transceiver is idle.
