Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for improving data service availability. Certain aspects provide methods and apparatus for wireless communications by a UE including determining, while the UE is in a coverage area of a first network, that a connection to a second network, comprising a packet data network (PDN), is disconnected locally, and taking at least one action to avoid a rejection of a request to connect to the second network.
Claims30
A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- determining, while the UE is in a coverage area of a first network, that a connection to a second network, comprising a packet data network (PDN), is disconnected locally;
- and
- taking at least one action to avoid a rejection of a request to connect to the second network.
An apparatus for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- means for determining, while the UE is in a coverage area of a first network, that a connection to a second network, comprising a packet data network (PDN), is disconnected locally;
- and
- means for taking at least one action to avoid a rejection of a request to connect to the second network.
An apparatus for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- at least one processor configured to:
- determine, while the UE is in a coverage area of a first network, that a connection to a second network, comprising a packet data network (PDN), is disconnected locally;
- and
- take at least one action to avoid a rejection of a request to connect to the second network;
- and
- a memory coupled to the at least one processor.
A computer program product for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a computer-readable medium comprising code for:
- determining, while the UE is in a coverage area of a first network, that a connection to a second network, comprising a packet data network (PDN), is disconnected locally;
- and
- taking at least one action to avoid a rejection of a request to connect to the second network.
