Abstract
One exemplary embodiment can be a catalyst for catalytic reforming of naphtha. The catalyst can have a noble metal including one or more of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, and iridium, at least two alkali metals or at least two alkaline earth metals, or mixtures of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals and a support.
Claims20
A catalyst for catalytic reforming of naphtha, comprising:
- a) a noble metal comprising one or more of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, and iridium;
- b) a mixture of two or more alkali metals, or a mixture of two or more alkaline earth metals, or a mixture of two or more alkali and alkaline earth metals;
- and
- c) a support.
1 more element
A catalyst for catalytic reforming of naphtha, comprising:
- a) platinum;
- b) a mixture of two or more alkali metals, or a mixture of two or more alkaline earth metals, or a mixture of two or more alkali and alkaline earth metals;
- c) chloride;
- and
- d) a support.
2 more elements
A reforming process, comprising:
- a) charging a hydrocarbon feedstock and a hydrogen-rich gas to a reforming zone;
- and
- b) contacting the hydrocarbon feedstock and the hydrogen rich gas in a reactor in the reforming zone wherein the catalyst comprises:
- 1) a noble metal comprising one or more of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, and iridium;
- 2) a mixture of two or more alkali metals, or a mixture of two or more alkaline earth metals, or a mixture of two or more alkali and alkaline earth metals;
