Abstract
A fish hook with at least four barbs specially configured to neutralize the strike of the sheepshead fish, and increase the strike/catch ratio, is described herein.
Claims2
A fish hook, comprising,
- A plurality of barbs arranged within a first plane and a second plane;
- Wherein at least one barb in said first plane is disposed on the opposite side of the shank from a second barb in said first plane;
- Wherein all the barbs in said second plane are disposed on the same side of the shank, and said barbs in said second plane each have different radii of curvature;
- and
- Wherein said first and said second plane are perpendicular to each other and intersect along the shank of said hook.
