Abstract
One exemplary embodiment involves downloading electronic content for editing at a local editing application, the electronic content received from a remote network source accessed through a web browser's connection to the source, the local editing application separate from the web browser. The embodiment further involves identifying edits made at the local editing application to the electronic content resulting in a new version of the electronic content. And, the embodiment further involves initiating an upload of the new version of the electronic content through the browser's network connection to the source.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- downloading electronic content for editing at a local editing application, the electronic content received from a remote network source accessed through a web browser's connection to the source, the local editing application separate from the web browser;
- identifying edits made via the local editing application to the electronic content resulting in a new version of the electronic content;
- and
- initiating an upload of the new version of the electronic content through the browser's network connection to the source.
A system comprising;
- a processor;
- and
- a computer-readable medium comprising instructions, the instructions, when executed by the processor, providing steps comprising:
- downloading electronic content for editing at a local editing application, the electronic content received from a remote network source accessed through a web browser's connection to the source, the local editing application separate from the web browser;
- identifying edits made via the local editing application to the electronic content resulting in a new version of the electronic content;
- and
- initiating an upload of the new version of the electronic content through the browser's network connection to the source.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium on which is encoded program code, the program code comprising:
- program code for downloading electronic content for editing via a local editing application, the electronic content received from a remote network source accessed through a web browser's connection to the source, the local editing application separate from the web browser;
- program code for identifying edits made via the local editing application to the electronic content resulting in a new version of the electronic content;
- and
- program code for initiating an upload of the new version of the electronic content through the browser's network connection to the source.
