Abstract
The present invention is directed to the use of rapamycin derivatives for use in treating solid tumors, optionally in combination with a chemotherapeutic agent.

A method for treating lymphatic cancer, said method comprising:
- administering to said subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula I
- wherein
- R1 is CH3,
- R2 is —CH2—CH2—OH, and
- X is ═O.

The method of claim 5 wherein the compound of formula I is administered in a unit dosage form of from about 0.25 to 10 mg.
The method of claim 6 wherein the compound of formula I is administered in a unit dosage form of 10 mg.
