Dyes and blends for shading during laundry

A shading process for textile fabrics or fibres which process comprises applying a photocatalyst which is a water-soluble phthalocyanine of Zn, Fe(II), Ca, Mg, Na, K, AI, Si(IV), P(V), Ti(IV), Ge(IV), Cr(VI), Ga(III), Zr(IV), In(III), Sn(IV) or Hf(VI) and a bis-azo-dye of formulae (I), (II) or (III) to the fabric or fibre in a laundry process

• wherein
• a is 0, 1 or 2;
• b is 0 or 1;
• c is 0 or 1;
• d is 0 or 1;
• A is CH3 or SO3X
• X is H, Na or K and
• R is a group
• wherein the arrows indicates the points of attachment.

A composition comprising

• a) A bis-azo-dye of formulae (I), (II) or (III)
• wherein
• a is 0, 1 or 2;
• b is 0 or 1;
• c is 0 or 1;
• d is 0 or 1;
• A is CH3 or SO3X
• X is H, Na or K and
• R is a group
• wherein the arrows indicate the points of attachment, and
• b) A water-soluble phthalocyanine of Zn, Fe(II), Ca, Mg, Na, K, Al, Si(IV), P(V), Ti(IV), Ge(IV), Cr(VI), Ga(III), Zr(IV), In(III), Sn(IV) or Hf(VI).
