Abstract
An adjustable hydrostatic axial piston machine of swash plate design includes an actuating apparatus with a cylinder/piston unit and an actuating spring. The actuating apparatus is configured to adjust a pivot cradle of the axial piston machine. The actuating spring engages around at least one axial section of the cylinder/piston unit.

A hydrostatic axial piston machine, comprising:
- a housing;
- an adjustable swash plate mounted in the housing such that it is configured to be pivoted via a pivot cradle;
- and
- an actuating apparatus having a cylinder/piston unit and an actuating spring, the actuating apparatus being configured to set a pivoting angle of the pivot cradle,
- wherein the actuating spring engages around at least one axial section of the cylinder/piston unit.
