A structure of locking pliers includes a movable joint pulling and pushing mechanism directly mounted to a tail end of a second handle. The mechanism includes a movable pulling bar forming a front-end arc recess that is positioned against a middle projection of a movable locking arm straddling between first and second handles of the pliers. The movable pulling bar of the pulling and pushing mechanism is provided with a U-shaped groove, which has a side projecting to form a wing projection, in a portion thereof that is engageable with the tail end of the second handle. The wing projection functions as a safety and protection device so that the movable joint pulling and pushing mechanism is provided with a hand push-way function to protect a user's hand from clamping and injury.
A simple structure of locking pliers for opening handles and jaws through fast and direct pulling, which comprises a control structure for fast opening the jaws of the locking pliers with a movable joint pulling and pushing mechanism that is mounted to a tail end of a second handle of the pliers in such a way that a movable pulling bar of the pulling and pushing mechanism is operable to directly push away an interconnection plate straddling between the first and second handles of the pliers, characterized in that the movable pulling bar of the pulling and pushing mechanism is provided with a U-shaped groove, which has a side projecting to form a wing projection, in a portion thereof that is engageable with the tail end of the second handle, the wing projection functioning as a safety and projection device, whereby the wing projection of the movable joint pulling and pushing mechanism can push away a user's hand to protect the hand from clamping and injury.
