Integration of emergency alert information

A system comprising:

• a memory comprising computer instructions;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory, wherein, when executing the computer instructions, the processor effectuates operations comprising:
• receiving an indication of an emergency alert from an emergency alert system;
• transmitting, to a supplemental emergency alert server, a request for multimedia content associated with the emergency alert, the request comprising an indication of a location of a wireless mobile device and an indication of an emergency personnel status of a subscriber associated with the wireless mobile device,
• wherein the request causes the supplemental emergency alert server to determine the multimedia content associated with the emergency alert based on the indication of the location of the wireless mobile device and the indication of the emergency personnel status of the subscriber associated with the wireless mobile device;
• receiving, from the supplemental emergency alert server, the multimedia content associated with the emergency alert;
• and
• transmitting the multimedia content to the wireless mobile device.

A computer-readable medium that is not a transient signal comprising computer-executable instructions, which when executed by a processor, cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising:

• receiving an indication of an emergency alert from an emergency alert system;
• transmitting, to a supplemental emergency alert server, a request for multimedia content associated with the emergency alert, the request comprising an indication of a location of a wireless mobile device and an indication of an emergency personnel status of a subscriber associated with the wireless mobile device,
• wherein the request causes the supplemental emergency alert server to determine the multimedia content associated with the emergency alert based on the indication of the location of the wireless mobile device and the indication of the emergency personnel status of the subscriber associated with the wireless mobile device;
• receiving, from the supplemental emergency alert server, the multimedia content associated with the emergency alert;
• and
• transmitting the multimedia content to the wireless mobile device.
