Abstract
A method, performed by a user device, includes receiving a user input for selecting an object displayed on a screen of the user device while reproducing video contents, detecting position information of the selected object and reproduction time information when the object is selected on the screen and transmitting the position information and the reproduction time information to a contents information management server.

A method performed by a device, the method comprising:
- receiving an input for selecting an object displayed on a screen of the device while reproducing video contents;
- detecting position information of the selected object and reproduction time information, when the object is selected on the screen;
- and
- transmitting the position information and the reproduction time information to a server.
