Abstract
A data storage system includes: a data storage medium configured to store data; a main controller configured to control an operation of the data storage medium; and a bridge chipset configured to convert a signal provided from the main controller according to a control information provided from an external source to the data storage medium and the main controller and to provide the converted signal to the data storage medium.

- a data storage medium configured to store data;
- a main controller configured to control an operation of the data storage medium;

- a bridge chipset configured to convert a signal provided from the main controller according to a control information provided from an external source to the data storage medium and the main controller and to provide the converted signal to the data storage medium.
A bridge chipset configured to convert a signal provided from a memory controller according to a control information provided from an external source to the memory controller and a memory device and to provide the converted signal to the memory device.
