Abstract
Disclosed is a method of generating a model representation of product information. The method obtains a list of products from a source of product information. A hierarchical tree is then constructed from the obtained list of products, wherein each hierarchical layer of the tree corresponds to a different category of product information.

A method of generating a model representation of product information, the method comprising the steps of:
- using a computer, obtaining a list of products from a source of product information;
- using a computer, constructing a hierarchical tree from the obtained list of products, wherein each hierarchical layer of the tree corresponds to a different category of product information.
A computer program product comprising computer program code adapted, when executed on a computer, to cause the computer to implement the steps of:
- obtaining a list of products a source of product information;
- constructing a hierarchical tree from the obtained list of products wherein each hierarchical layer of the tree corresponds to a different category of product information.
A computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereon that, if executed by a computer, cause the computer to implement the steps of:
- obtaining a list of products from a source of product information;
- constructing a hierarchical tree from the obtained list of products, wherein each hierarchical layer of the tree corresponds to a different category of product information.
