Customizing browsing content based on user data inferred from targeted advertisements

A computer program product including computer usable program code embodied on a computer usable storage medium, the computer program product comprising:

• computer usable program code for receiving a request from a first user at a first IP address for content hosted on a web server;
• computer usable program code for delivering the requested content from the web server to the first IP address;
• computer usable program code for inspecting an advertising feed targeted to the first IP address;
• computer usable program code for inferring user data from the advertising feed;
• computer usable program code for generating supplemental content according to the user data inferred from the advertising feed;
• and
• computer usable program code for providing the supplemental content to the first IP address.

A system, comprising:

• a web server containing website content, the web server configured for receiving requests from IP addresses for the website content and delivering the requested website content from the web server to the requesting IP address;
• an inspector tool configured for inspecting an advertising feed targeted to a first IP address and inferring user data from the advertising feed;
• and
• a supplemental content generator configured for generating supplemental content according to the user data inferred from the advertising feed and providing the supplemental content to the first IP address.
