Abstract
A computer-implemented method and system for providing automated admission to a healthcare unit for a potential patient, comprising receiving patient data from the potential patient at a server via a communications module of a mobile terminal, processing the patient data to determine a level of care required, updating an admission support module of a healthcare unit on the basis of the determined level of care, displaying a notification on a display of the mobile terminal representing an instruction for the potential patient.

A computer-implemented method for providing automated admission to a healthcare unit for a potential patient, comprising:
- receiving patient data from the potential patient at a server via a communications module of a mobile terminal;
- processing the patient data to determine a level of care required;
- updating an admission support module of a healthcare unit on the basis of the determined level of care;
- displaying a notification on a display of the mobile terminal representing an instruction for the potential patient.
A system for providing automated admission to a healthcare unit for a potential patient, comprising:
- a mobile terminal to receive input data from a user representing a current state of their wellbeing;
- a processor of the mobile terminal to process the input data;
- a server to receive data from the mobile terminal using a communications module thereof;
- and
- an admission support module of a healthcare unit to receive admission data representing a level of care derived from the data.
