Abstract
Molded articles formed from compositions comprising thermoplastic starch, thermoplastic polymers, and oils, waxes, or combinations thereof are disclosed, where the oil, wax, or combination is dispersed throughout the thermoplastic polymer.

A molded article comprising a composition comprising an intimate admixture of
- (a) a thermoplastic starch;
- (b) a thermoplastic polymer;
- and
- (c) an oil, wax, or combination thereof present in an amount of about 5 wt % to about 40 wt %, based upon the total weight of the composition.
