A compound of formula (I):
- wherein
- X is R1ONHCH2—, R1R2NNHCH2—, R1ON═CH—, R1HNC(S)NHCH2—, R1R2NN═CH—, R1HNC(S)NHN═CH—, or R1C(O)NHN═CH—, in which each of R1 and R2, independently, is H, halo, C1-C10 alkyl, C1-C10 alkoxyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl, C3-C10 cycloalkyl, C3-C10 heterocycloalkyl, aryl, or heteroaryl;
- Y is H, halo, amino, C1-C10 alkyl, or C1-C10 alkoxyl;
- and
- Z is unsubstituted aryl or aryl substituted with halo, hydroxyl, amino, C1-C10 alkyl, C1-C10 alkoxyl, C3-C10 cycloalkyl, C3-C10 heterocycloalkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl, aryl, or heteroaryl.

- wherein
- X is CN, heteroaryl, heteroaryl-CH2—, N3CH2—, NH2CH2—, R1C(O)NHNHCH2—, R1R2NCH2—, R1C(O)NHCH2—, R1HNC(O)NHCH2—, R1HNC(S)NHCH2—, R1ONHCH2—, R1R2NNHCH2—, R10—N═CH—, R1R2NN═CH—, or R1C(O)NHN═CH—, in which each of R1 and R2, independently, is H, halo, C1-C10 alkyl, C1-C10 alkoxyl, C3-C10 cycloalkyl, C3-C10 heterocycloalkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl, aryl, or heteroaryl;
