A method comprising the steps of:

• from one or more sensors at a race event, receiving at least one position or time of at least one race participant at at least one intermediate point within the race event;
• and
• computing in a computer an adjustment to at least one rule characteristic of a computer-simulated game based, at least in part on the at least one received position or time.
