Abstract
An upper rotating body is rotatably mounted on a lower running body. A power storage module is mounted on the upper rotating body. The power storage module includes a plurality of power storage cells. Each of the plurality of power storage cells accumulates electric energy. A heat absorbing plate is disposed between the power storage cells. The heat absorbing plate is thermally coupled to the power storage cells, and a flow channel circulating cooling medium is formed in the inner portion of the heat absorbing plate. A cooling medium supply device makes the cooling medium flow into the flow channel formed in the inner portion of the heat absorbing plate.

A shovel, comprising:
- a lower running body;
- an upper rotating body which is rotatably mounted on the lower running body;
- and
- a power storage module which is mounted on the upper rotating body,
- wherein the power storage module comprises:
- a plurality of power storage cells, each of which accumulates electric energy;
- a heat absorbing plate which is disposed between the power storage cells and is thermally coupled to the power storage cells and has a flow channel formed therein, the flow channel circulating cooling medium;
- and
- a cooling medium supply device which makes the cooling medium flow into the flow channel formed in the heat absorbing plate.
