Abstract
The invention relates to novel polypeptides which are recognized by anti-Trichinella antibodies. Said polypeptides can be used particularly for detecting anti-Trichinella antibodies and in trichinosis prevention.
Claims17
A reagent composition comprising an antigenic polypeptide recognized by anti-Trichinella antibodies, characterized in that said polypeptide is chosen from:
- (a) a polypeptide comprising the sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 2, or comprising a sequence exhibiting at least 70% identity with the sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- (b) a polypeptide comprising amino acids 21-67 of the sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 4, or comprising a sequence exhibiting at least 70% identity with the sequence of amino acids 21-67 of the sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 4.
An antigenic polypeptide recognized by anti-Trichinella antibodies, characterized in that it is a polypeptide comprising amino acids 21-67 of the sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 4, or comprising a sequence exhibiting at least 70% identity with the sequence of amino acids 21-67 of the sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 4.
