System for communicating relationship data associated with image characteristics

A low-level analytic processing system configured to send information relating to image characteristics to a high-level analytic processing system, the low-level processing system comprising a plurality of modules executable by at least one processor, the plurality of modules comprising:

• an image sensor and image data generator module that is configured to capture images and generate image data;
• a memory module that is configured to store the image data;
• and
• at least one image characteristic processing module configured to:
• determine image characteristic values corresponding to an image characteristic, the image characteristic being associated with the image data;
• and
• determine relationships between the image characteristic values and a predetermined target associated with the image characteristic, the predetermined target indicating one or more values of the image characteristic that is desired to analytically process the image data.

One or more computer readable storage media encoded with software comprising computer executable instructions and when the software is executed operable to:

• capture images and store the images as image data;
• determine an image characteristic value corresponding to an image characteristic, the image characteristic being associated with image data;
• and
• determine a relationship between the image characteristic value and a predetermined target associated with the image characteristic, the predetermined target indicating one or more values of the image characteristic that is desired to analytically to process the image data.
