Techniques for grouping images

A computer-implemented method for grouping images, comprising:

• under control of one or more computer systems configured with executable instructions,
• identifying at least one event-based image group among a plurality of images based on an event that is associated with each identified image;
• receiving a selection of one or more objects in a first image of the identified event-based image group;
• identifying other images in the identified event-based image group that each include at least one of the selected one or more objects;
• and
• associating the identified other images with the first image.

A computer system for grouping images, the system comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory having computer-executable instructions that, when executed on the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
• identify at least one event-based image group among a plurality of images based on an event that is associated with each identified image;
• receive a selection of one or more objects in a first image of the identified event-based image group;
• identify other images in the identified event-based image group that each include at least one of the selected one or more objects;
• and
• associate the identified other images with the first image.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions for grouping images stored thereon that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to:

• identify at least one event-based image group among a plurality of images based on an event that is associated with each identified image;
• receive a selection of one or more objects in a first image of the identified event-based image group;
• identify other images in the identified event-based image group that each include at least one of the selected one or more objects;
• and
• associate the identified other images with the first image.
