Abstract
An infrared (IR) light device is provided comprising: a main casing filled with a gas to prevent condensation from forming on an interior surface of the visible light filter; and a plurality of IR light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted in the main casing, wherein the casing includes heat dissipating features.
Claims18
An infrared (IR) light device comprising:
- a main casing filled with a gas to prevent condensation from forming on an interior surface of the light filter;
- and
- a plurality of IR light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted in the main casing.
An infrared (IR) light device comprising:
- a main casing;
- a plurality of IR light emitting diodes mounting in the main casing;
- a temperature sensor for sensing when a temperature within the main casing exceeds a predefined threshold;
- and
- control structure for turning off a portion but not all of the LEDs when the temperature exceeds the predefined threshold.
