Abstract
A method and an apparatus for controlling image capturing according to an image value degree are provided. The imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit that captures an image; an image value degree calculator that calculates an image value degree indicating a value of an image captured by the imaging unit; and an image controller that controls capturing by the imaging unit depending on the image value degree calculated by the image value degree calculator.

An imaging apparatus comprising:
- an imaging unit that captures an image;
- an image value degree calculator that calculates an image value degree indicating a value of an image captured by the imaging unit;
- and
- an image controller that controls capturing by the imaging unit depending on the image value degree calculated by the image value degree calculator.
