Abstract
Provided is a communication method using a three-dimensional (3D) image display device. In the communication method, motion information is determined using a motion image obtained by photographing a user's motion indicating the user's request in relation to an opposite party, distance information indicating the distance between the user who is moving and the 3D image display device is determined, and then, the user's request is determined based on the motion information and the distance information

A communication method using a display device, the method comprising:
- determining distance information indicating a distance between a user who is moving and the display device displaying another party;
- determining motion information by using a motion image obtained by capturing a motion of the user indicating a request of the user to the other party;
- and
- determining the request of the user to the other party based on the motion information and the distance information between the user who is moving and the display device.
A communication apparatus using a display device, the apparatus comprising:
- a processor operably coupled to:
- a distance information determination unit which determines distance information indicating a distance between a user who is moving and the display device displaying another party;
- a motion information determination unit which determines motion information by using a motion image obtained by capturing a motion of the user indicating a request of the user to the other party;
- and
- a user request determination unit which determines the request of the user to the other party based on the motion information and the distance information between the user who is moving and the display device.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having recorded thereon a program for executing a communication method using a display device, the method comprising:
- determining distance information indicating a distance between a user who is moving and the display device displaying another party;
- determining motion information by using a motion image obtained by capturing a motion of the user indicating a request of the user to the other party;
- and
- determining the request of the user to the other party based on the motion information and the distance information between the user who is moving and the display device.
A communication apparatus using a display device, the apparatus comprising:
- a processor operable to configure:
- a distance information determination unit which determines a distance between a first user and the display device;
- a motion information determination unit which determines motion information of the first user using a motion image obtained by capturing a motion of the first user;
- and
- a user request determination unit which determines a request of the first user to a second user displayed on the display device based on the motion information and the distance between the first user and the display device.
