Abstract
An electronic device includes a first display for displaying static images, and a second display for displaying dynamic images. The first display includes a plurality of first pixels, and the second display includes a plurality of white pixels. The first display is stacked on the second display, and the plurality of first pixels respectively correspond to the plurality of white pixels.

An electronic device, comprising:
- a first display for displaying static images, the first display comprising a plurality of first pixels;
- and
- a second display for displaying dynamic images, the second display comprising a plurality of white (W) pixels;
- wherein the first display is stacked on the second display, and the plurality of first pixels respectively correspond to the plurality of white pixels.

A method for switching between a first display and a second display, the first display used for displaying static images, the second display used for displaying dynamic images;
- the method comprising the steps of:
- determining at least one feature of the visual content;
- and
- selectively enabling at least one of the first display and the second display, based on the at least one determined feature, to display the visual content;
- wherein the first display is stacked on the second display, the first display comprises a plurality of first pixels, the second display comprises a plurality of white pixels, the plurality of first pixels respectively correspond to the plurality of white pixels.
