Abstract
An impact absorbing member includes: a first wall and a second wall that face each other; a plurality of side walls connecting these first wall and second wall; a corner portion connecting the side walls; and a destruction inducing portion, located within a predetermined area from the corner portion, for destroying the corner portion when the first wall or the second wall receives impact.

An impact absorbing member comprising:
- a first wall and a second wall, the walls facing each other;
- a plurality of side walls connecting these first wall and second wall;
- a corner portion connecting the side walls;
- and
- a destruction inducing portion, located within a predetermined area from the corner portion, for destroying the corner portion when the first wall or the second wall receives impact.
