A light-emitting element mounting package comprising:
- a light-emitting element mounting portion that includes a plurality of wiring portions arranged interposing a predetermined gap between the wiring portions facing each other, and
- an insulating layer on which the light-emitting element mounting portion is mounted,
- wherein an upper surface of the light-emitting element mounting portion is exposed on the insulating layer,
- wherein cutout portions are formed on lower sides of side edges of the wiring portions and contact the insulating layer.
A method of manufacturing a light-emitting element mounting package comprising:
- forming a groove on a predetermined area of a surface of a metallic foil;
- forming an insulating layer covering the surface of the metallic foil and the groove;
- forming a light-emitting element mounting portion on which a plurality of wiring portions are arranged while interposing predetermined gaps between the wiring portions facing each other by removing a part of the metallic foil corresponding to the groove,
- wherein the forming the light-emitting element mounting portion includes
- forming cutout portions at side edges of the surfaces of the wiring portions using an inner wall of the groove.
