Supercharging system for an internal combustion engine

A supercharging system (6) for an internal combustion engine comprising

• a turbo charging device with a turbine (7) and a compressor (8), said compressor having a compressor shaft (8a);
• a planetary gear (25) coupled to said compressor shaft (8a) and a drive shaft (32);
• a clutch unit (18);
• a power transmission for connecting a crank shaft (4) of the combustion engine (1) to said drive shaft (32) via the clutch unit (18);
• and
• an electric motor or electric generator (20)
• connected to said drive shaft (32) characterised in that said compressor shaft (8a) comprises a shaft (28) and at least one end connector (29), and said end connector comprises a shaft receiving part (30) which is movably arranged to said shaft (28) to allow relative movements between said compressor (8) and said planetary gear (25) in a radial direction and/or axial direction in relation to an axis of said compressor (8) or an axis of said planetary gear (25) connecting said compressor shaft (8a).
