A latch protection structure for a vehicle-mounted object wherein a latch is provided for setting/releasing a lid to and from a vehicle-mounted housing body,
- comprising ribs protruded from at least one of said lid and said housing body so as to prevent a sphere with a diameter stipulated in outer protrusion requirements from contacting with the latch.
