Voice-Activated Pulser

A method for activating an electronic system responsive to a spoken command, said method comprising the steps:

• converting sound waves to raw electronic signals, and amplifying the raw signals to make amplified signals;
• comparing the amplified signals to a predetermined threshold value, a spoken command sound being detected when the amplified signals exceed the threshold value;
• then, waiting until a spoken command sound is detected;
• then, generating an electronic output signal;
• then, conveying the output signal to the electronic system, thereby activating the electronic system.

A system comprising a voice-activated device, a measurement instrument, and a circuit under test, wherein;

• the voice-activated device is configured to generate an output signal responsive to a spoken command;
• the measurement instrument is configured to measure a diagnostic voltage on the circuit under test;
• and when the output signal is conveyed to the measurement instrument, the output signal causes the measurement instrument to measure the diagnostic voltage;
• and when the output signal is conveyed to the circuit under test, the output signal causes the circuit under test to produce the diagnostic voltage, which the measurement instrument subsequently measures.
