Leach Field System

A wastewater system comprising:

• a set of three or more high aspect ratio channels, each high aspect ratio channel in the set comprising an upper boundary, a bottom boundary, a width, a length, and one or more infiltrative sides,
• wherein each of the plurality of high aspect ratio channels in the set comprises a height to width aspect ratio of between 96 and 3,
• wherein the height, of the height to width aspect ratio of the high aspect ratio channels in the set, is measured from:
• (a) the upper boundary of the high aspect ratio channel to the bottom boundary of the same high aspect ratio channel, or (b) granular material above and adjoining the upper boundary of the high aspect ratio channel to granular material below and adjoining the bottom boundary of the same high aspect ratio channel;
• and
• a distribution conduit positioned and configured to dispense effluent to each of three or more high aspect ratio channels in the set of high aspect ratio channels,
• wherein the portion of the distribution conduit, where effluent is dispensed from the distribution conduit to each of three or more high aspect ratio channels in the set of high aspect ratio channels traverses these three or more high aspect ratio channels,
• wherein the distribution conduit does not cover the entirety of the upper boundary of three or more high aspect ratio channels in the set of high aspect ratio channels,
• wherein for at least three high aspect ratio channels the length of a first and second opposing individual infiltrative side of the channel is greater than the distance between those same first and second opposing sides,
• wherein at least three adjacent high aspect ratio channels are spaced at least two inches apart, and
• wherein three or more of the high aspect ratio channels are substantially parallel to each other and are spaced apart from each other,
• wherein at least a portion of the space between these at least three substantially parallel high aspect ratio channels comprises a granular material that boundaries with at least a portion of the upper boundary, bottom boundary, and an infiltrative side of these at least these three substantially parallel high aspect ratio channels.

A wastewater system comprising:

• a set of high aspect ratio channels, each of the channels in the set comprising an infiltrative side, an upper boundary, and an infiltrative bottom, and
• a distribution conduit positioned and configured to dispense septic effluent to each of the high aspect ratio channels in the set,
• wherein granular material is positioned between infiltrative sides of adjacent high aspect ratio channels,
• wherein each of the high aspect ratio channels in the set is substantially parallel and has a height to width aspect ratio of between 96 and 3,
• wherein the distribution conduit is configured and positioned to dispense effluent directly to at least a portion of the infiltrative bottom of each of the high aspect ratio channels in the set,
• wherein three or more adjacent high aspect ratio channels in the set of high aspect ratio channels are spaced two inches or more apart.

A wastewater system comprising:

• a set of high aspect ratio wastewater channels, each of the channels in the set comprising an infiltrative side boundary, a top boundary, and a bottom boundary;
• and
• a wastewater distribution conduit positioned and configured to dispense septic effluent to one or more individual sections of each of the high aspect ratio wastewater channels in the set, the effluent dispensed by the wastewater distribution conduit to each high aspect ratio wastewater channel then being able to flow to other portions of the same high aspect ratio wastewater channel;
• wherein granular material is positioned outside of and between adjacent high aspect ratio wastewater channels,
• wherein each of the high aspect ratio wastewater channels in the set is substantially parallel and has a height to width aspect ratio of between 96 and 3,
• wherein the bottom boundary of each of the high aspect ratio wastewater channels in the set is positioned along a level plane of reference, the level plane of reference shared by each of the high aspect ratio wastewater channels in the set,
• wherein the wastewater distribution conduit is configured and positioned to direct and dispense effluent towards the bottom boundary of each of the high aspect ratio wastewater channels in the set.
