Abstract
Oxygen therapy for healthy or inflamed but intact skin involves placing an oxygen-generating dressing onto the skin to be treated, the oxygen-generating bandage being a one-time use dressing capable of generating oxygen for only a short period of time, not to exceed about 4 hours.
Claims13
A method for improving the health or appearance of intact skin, comprising:
- topically applying to a region of intact skin an admixture of a first gel containing a peroxide decomposition catalyst and a second gel containing a peroxide, said admixture capable of only one time use, and in which 80% or more of the peroxide is decomposed into oxygen within a period of 4 hours.
