Abstract
A mixing chamber includes a container for receiving a first and a second component; an obstacle structure, which is designed such that, under the effect of a centrifugal force or magnetic force acting on the mixing chamber, it moves through the first and second components in the container and mixes them with each other; and a connection piece, which is connected at one end to the container and at the other end to the obstacle structure.
Claims15
A mixing chamber comprising:
- a container for receiving a first and a second component;
- an obstacle structure, which is designed such that, under the effect of a centrifugal force and/or magnetic force, it moves through the first and second components in the container and mixes them with each other;
- and
- a connection piece, which is connected at one end to the container and at the other end to the obstacle structure.
A cartridge for centrifuging, comprising:
- a mixing chamber including (i) a container for receiving a first and a second component, (ii) an obstacle structure, which is designed such that, under the effect of a centrifugal force and/or magnetic force, it moves through the first and second components in the container and mixes them with each other, and (iii) a connection piece, which is connected at one end to the container and at the other end to the obstacle structure.
A method for mixing a first and a second component by means of a mixing chamber or a cartridge, the method comprising:
- filling a container of the mixing chamber with the first and the second components;
- and
- generating a centrifugal force or a magnetic force;
- and
- moving an obstacle structure through the first and the second components and mixing the first and the second components with each other,
- wherein the mixing chamber includes (i) the container for receiving the first and the second component, (ii) the obstacle structure, which is designed such that, under the effect of the centrifugal force and/or the magnetic force, it moves through the first and second components in the container and mixes them with each other, and (iii) a connection piece, which is connected at one end to the container and at the other end to the obstacle structure, and
- wherein the cartridge includes the mixing chamber.
