Transmission channel for ultrasound applications

A system, comprising:

• a high-voltage buffer block including a plurality of buffer transistors;
• a high-voltage clamp including a plurality of clamp transistors and a plurality of clamp diodes, each clamp diode of the plurality coupled in series with a respective clamp transistor and in anti-series with a body diode of the respective clamp transistor;
• and
• a clamp reset block including a plurality of diodes, each diode of the plurality being coupled between a conduction terminal of a clamp transistor and a conduction terminal of a buffer transistor.

A transmission channel, comprising:

• means for generating high-voltage pulses;
• means for clamping an output of the transmission channel to a reference voltage;
• and
• means for biasing the transmission channel between pulses.

A method, comprising:

• transmitting a series of high-voltage pulses through a transmission channel;
• clamping an output of the transmission channel to a reference voltage between pulses;
• and
• biasing the transmission channel between pulses.
