Abstract

A crop sprayer includes a main frame. A product tank is supported by the main frame that is configured to contain a first quantity of fluid therein. A cab is supported by the main frame that includes a leading wall structure including a window, a trailing wall structure positioned in relation to the product tank so as to define a reservoir space therebetween, a left lateral wall structure including a first door, and a right lateral wall structure including a second door. The leading wall structure, trailing wall structure, left lateral wall structure, and right lateral wall structure collectively define an operator space. A first platform having a first generally horizontally oriented foot support is positioned adjacent to the first door. A second platform having a second generally horizontally oriented foot support is positioned adjacent to the second door. A hydraulic reservoir assembly contain a second quantity of fluid therein is positioned in the reservoir space.

Dependent claims

A crop sprayer, comprising:

a main frame;
a product tank supported by said main frame, said product tank configured to contain a first quantity of fluid therein;
a cab supported by said main frame, said cab having a leading wall structure including a window, a trailing wall structure positioned in relation to said product tank so as to define a space therebetween, a left lateral wall structure including a first door, and a right lateral wall structure including a second door, and further said leading wall structure, said trailing wall structure, said left lateral wall structure, and said right lateral wall structure collectively define an operator space;
a first platform having a first generally horizontally oriented foot support positioned adjacent to said first door;
a second platform having a second generally horizontally oriented foot support positioned adjacent to said second door;
and
a hydraulic reservoir assembly positioned in said reservoir space and configured to contain a second quantity of fluid therein.

A hydraulic reservoir assembly for a crop sprayer, the crop sprayer including a main frame, the hydraulic reservoir assembly comprising:

a hydraulic fluid container including:
a lower wall portion positioned proximate said main frame;
an upper wall portion positioned opposite said lower wall portion;
a leading wall portion positioned proximate a rear wall of said cab assembly;
a trailing wall portion positioned proximate a leading portion of said tank support assembly;
a first lateral wall portion arranged proximate a first side portion of a cab assembly of said crop sprayer;
and
a second lateral wall portion arranged proximate a second side portion of said cab assembly;
wherein said lower wall portion, said upper wall portion, said leading wall portion, said trailing wall portion, said first lateral wall portion, and said second lateral wall portion collectively define an interior reservoir space for containing hydraulic fluid;
a reservoir fill structure attached to said upper wall portion, said reservoir fill structure defining a first opening through which hydraulic fluid is introduced into said interior reservoir space;
a hydraulic fluid filter structure attached to said upper wall portion, said hydraulic fluid filter structure including a filter assembly positioned within said interior reservoir space and defining a second opening that communicates with said interior reservoir space through which said filter assembly is introduced into said interior reservoir space;
an attachment member that removably secures said hydraulic fluid container to said main frame;
and
a tread plate releasably attached to said upper wall portion to provide a walking surface for an operator of said crop sprayer.
