Abstract
A machine-readable optical code formed on a substrate includes a first code having a plurality of first elements formed on or in the substrate, the first code specifying first information, wherein one or more of the first elements includes a second code on or in the substrate, the second code including a plurality of second elements specifying second information, and wherein the first code and the second code are machine-readable optical codes.
Claims23
A machine-readable optical code formed on a substrate, comprising:
- a first code including a plurality of first elements formed on or in the substrate, the first code specifying first information;
- wherein one or more of the first elements includes a second code on or in the substrate, the second code including a plurality of second elements specifying second information;
- and
- wherein the first code and the second code are machine-readable optical codes.
1 more element
A method of making machine-readable optical code formed on a substrate, comprising:
- forming a first machine-readable optical code including a plurality of first elements on or in the substrate, the first machine-readable optical code specifying first information;
- and
- forming one or more of the first elements as a second machine-readable optical code on or in the substrate, the second machine-readable optical code including a plurality of second elements specifying second information.
