System and Method for Transmitting a Feed Related to a First User to a Second User

A computing device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a storage medium tangibly storing thereon program logic configured to instruct the at least one processor to at least:
• provide a first user interface to a first client computer operated by a first user for display by a first web browser, the first web browser displaying web content to the first user;
• provide a second user interface to a second client computer operated by a second user for display by a second web browser;
• receive a feed request from the second client computer of the second user;
• receive a submission from the first user while the web content is being display to the first user in the first web browser;
• determine whether the submission is of interest to the second user;
• and
• if the submission is of interest to the second user, transmit a feed to the second client computer to present the submission to the second user.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing computer program instructions configured instruct a computer processor to at least:

• provide, by a server computer, a first user interface on a first client computer operated by a first user for display by a first web browser, the first web browser displaying web content to the first user;
• provide, by the server computer, a second user interface on a second client computer operated by a second user for display by a second web browser;
• receive, by the server computer, a submission from the first client computer of the first user, submission associated with the web content;
• in response to the submission, determine whether the submission satisfies at least one condition of:
• the submission identifies the second user,
• the submission containing a tag to which the second user subscribes, and
• the second use follows a user who is interested in the submission;
• and
• if the submission satisfies the at least one condition, transmit, by the server computer, a real time feed related to the web content to the second user interface to present the submission.
