Use of hydrogen scavenging catalysts to control polymer molecular weight and hydrogen levels in a polymerization reactor

A catalyst composition comprising:

• catalyst component I comprising a metallocene compound;
• catalyst component II comprising a hydrogen scavenging catalyst;
• an organoaluminum compound;
• and
• an activator-support comprising a solid oxide treated with an electron-withdrawing anion;
• wherein a molar ratio of catalyst component I to catalyst component II is in a range from about 40:1 to about 10,000:1.

A catalyst composition comprising:

• catalyst component I comprising a metallocene compound;
• catalyst component II comprising a hydrogen scavenging catalyst;
• and
• an activator comprising an aluminoxane compound, an organoboron or organoborate compound, an ionizing ionic compound, or any combination thereof;
• wherein a molar ratio of catalyst component I to catalyst component II is in a range from about 40:1 to about 10,000:1.
